An entrepreneurial vehicle with an institutional temperament.
A search fund is a focused investment vehicle in which a small group of investors backs a principal to identify, acquire, and personally operate a single privately held company. Aldermere was formed on that model, with the conviction that concentration and operator ownership produce durable outcomes.
We are not a private equity firm and we do not run a portfolio. We intend to acquire one company and hold it indefinitely — reinvesting cash flows, honouring existing teams, and preserving the character of the business we join.

Aldermere is led by an operator-investor with a decade of experience across strategy, operations, and finance in the middle market. The fund is backed by a small group of experienced entrepreneurs, family offices, and prior search fund principals.
